The cigarette plug stopped working so I ordered the hard wire kit. It was easy to install and works fine.
The Apeman CH50 Hardwire Kit seems to be working as advertised. I also purchased the 32MB SD Card.
My original installation was with the cigarette lighter adapter with a 128GB SD Card.
I would have to unplug the adapter when leaving my vehicle, or the Dash Cam would stay on for an extended period of time. I would sometimes realize halfway home, I forgot to plug in the adapter. I also found the 128MB Card would fill up and shut the Camera down while driving, and need to be re-formatted, a process which needs to be done out of the camera.
With the 32GB Card, the looping function seems to be working, and the Dash Cam turns on and off without thinking about it.
The difference being, on my 45 minute drive per day, I would get about 1 week of recording time vs 2 days. I guess if there’s no occurrences, it doesn’t matter.
I do have a comment / suggestion.
I also purchased the under mirror mount CM20 but was unable to use it because of my vehicle design. There’s not enough space.
A nice alternative to the suction cup or CM20 would simply be a flat surface attachment, that could be affixed with Velcro. The same idea as used with the Fast Pass in many States.
In my vehicle, there is a flat area behind the mirror, that I was able attach a strip of Velcro. For the other side, I attached Velcro to the suction cup, with a couple of additional modifications that I hope last. A simple flat surface attachment I place of the suction cup would be nice.
I’d rather not use the suction cup design. I’ve used them in the past, and I’ve found they eventually release and fall.
I’ve included a photo.

I bought extra plugs because my old plug stopped working. You simply plug the one end into your fuse box by matching the plug end to the same outline port on the fuse box. Plug the other end into the dash cam, and anytime the dash cam senses movement, it turns on and starts recording. This Gravity Sensor plug is definitely worth it.
The Apeman dashcam CH50 hardwire kit made the setup of my C770 dashcam and easy process. Plus, I like the way the dashcam can recognize when to auto-run and not to auto-run.
I wasn't sure the quality and the feature of the product before purchasing it.
I have been using it for about a month now. It serves me well beyond my expectation, particularly in the parking mode. As soon as any vibration or shock is detected, such as hitting the Windshield or door, it starts recording. I recommend this power cable 100%.
