apeman C550 Dual Dash Cam
Crazy low price for this dual camera unit. I needed something that could stick on the large plastic cover behind the rear view mirror on our 2021 RAV4.
This is my 4th apeman camera and all have been working great for years now in all my families vehicles. The 4 stars is because this unit has a miss aligned SD card slot so it’s hard to get out. I would guess it’s just my unit though.
I first purchased this camera in August of 2021. I had been in a bad accident before that and the other driver tried to blame me. I was eventually cleared, but it wasn't easy. After that, I told my husband I needed a camera in my car because I didn't want to go through that again. So, after a lot of research, I decided on the Apeman c550. And I haven't been disappointed. And, as luck would have it, we were involved in another accident in April 2023. We didn't know right away that it was a crime taking place with someone stealing a truck with the owner in the back of the truck. Well, yippee!!! I have front and rear cameras in the car. They caught everything before the stolen vehicle hit me, the car he hit before me, and the two cars he hit behind me when he was trying to run the light. We were able to give a copy of the video to the police which helped them with everything they needed. :)
Anyway, just this month, June 2023, my husband's son called to tell him that his wife Mollie had been in a bad accident. And I immediately asked my husband to ask if they had cameras in their car. The answer. Nope. Well, we decided to buy cameras for them, and a set for my husband's truck as well. So, in June 2023 I went online and I ordered 2 more of these cameras. My husband has given his son theirs and he has his and now I'm happy because everyone has a camera for those, "just in case" situations because you never know what someone is going to do.
I do highly recommend these cameras. I'd buy them again, heck, I've already purchased 3. :)

Loved these had 2 for my cars ordered another one and even got friends and family to order and use
Brand new, straight out of the box and SD cards won't work. I will be emailing customer service for the fact that four different SIM cards formatted using both quick and regular methods, on two different computers, using two different adapters did not work in the unit. Receiving a message to format the SIM card when I turn the unit on before even changing one setting.
